Adams, Miller, Falzon, Mann attend Skills Academies
The first round of Nike’s Skills Academies took place this week at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
Jalen Adams and Jeremy Miller represented New England in the “Ones Skills Academy” and “The Bigs Skills Academy” for guards and big men respectively.
They arrived in New Jersey on Monday, along with 33 other top players from around the country including Cheick Diallo. Henry Ellenson, and many others.
Those 35 players went through three days of skill instruction from Nike skill instructors like Kevin Eastman and Ganon Baker while also receiving instruction from (and getting to compete against) current NBA players including Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, and Trey Burke.
Simultaneously, former NBA head coach John Lucas hosted some of college basketball’s top big men and guards for workouts of their own. That group included Iowa State forward and New England product Georges Niang.
This weekend, Terance Mann Aaron Falzon are set to attend the Kevin Durant Skills Academy in Washington D.C. for the nation’s top wing prospects.
The three position based Skills Academies lead to the Lebron James Skills Academy, held in Las Vegas during the first week of the July evaluation period.
