Robert Morris Snags Another
Just one week after landing a commitment from Springfield Commonwealth and Expressions guard Enoch Cheeks, Robert Morris struck the local prep ranks again this week to land another steal, this time from Redemption Christian guard Kam Farris.
Farris is a Vermont native who began his career at Rice Memorial before transferring to Tabor Academy. He is currently spending his post-graduate year at Redemption Christian Academy.
He started to show signs of taking his game to new levels in the summer of 2018 while playing with the New England Playaz and continued to ascend during his year at Tabor. His recruitment peaked last spring though as he became a focal point for his WrightWay Skills squad and played particularly well at both the Hoop Group Southern Jam Fest as well as the NERR Super 16 Showcase, picking up offers as high as the Atlantic 10 in the process.
Farris is a highly skilled guard with great hands, a lot of handle, and a unique ability to make tough shots, and an ideal complement next to the toughness and athleticism that Cheeks provides.
Together, that duo should be one of the best incoming backcourt in the Northeast Conference next season.
