Elite 75 College Showcase Recap pt. 3
Following the Elite 75 this past Wednesday at Clark, we will be taking a look at each of the showcase teams and highlighting what they do well. Here's a look at one of the squads.
Leo Ferry (Bellmore JFK, NY) is a very smart player. Has a high IQ and knowledge of what to do out on the floor, rarely makes glaring mistakes. On top of that, he is a knockdown three-point shooter with a good midrange game to go with it.
Liam Conlan (Rocky Point HS, NY) is a hardworking competitor who moves very well without the ball and is definitely a hustle player. Conlan also has the ability to finish around the rim and plays to make those around him better.
Jack Guevara (Frederick Gunn, NY) does a very good job getting his teammates involved. He is a crafty point guard who knows how to draw defenders and read the floor to make plays. Guevara also has the ability to get into the paint and create for himself and others when needed.
Jorjan Flores (Springfield Commonwealth, MA) is a very crafty player and can get to the rim. Capable of scoring at three levels, Flores shoots the three well, gets to the bucket, and has a strong in-between game equipped with floaters and creative shots in the paint.
Henry Stewart (Cheshire Academy, CT) is a sharpshooter capable of firing off the catch. He can go all three ways from a triple threat. Quick with the dribble, creates space to get good looks at shots from deep as well.
Gianpiero Arnone (St. John the Baptist, NY) is a big body who has a strong presence in the paint on both sides of the ball. The 6’6 power forward is also active on the glass and capable of spacing the floor. Has good touch around the basket.
