Justin Connolly 2018

Brooks School and Middlesex Magic forward Justin Connolly accepted a full athletic scholarship offer from Merrimack College on Tuesday night.

Coming off a NEPSAC championship in Class B, Connolly had a huge spring and summer with the Magic, earning multiple scholarship offers despite being hobbled by an ankle injury midway through the grassroots season.

The 6-foot-7 forward played a critical role for the Magic and was particularly impactful during their championships at the Northeast Hoops Festival, Pittsburgh Jam Fest, and Big Apple Showcase.

Connolly is one of six members of the Magic's 2018 class to have already finalized his recruitment, and one of five to commit to a scholarship level, as he joins Thomas Shaughnessy (Brown), Patrick Harding (Bryant), Bryce Daley (UMass Lowell), Tyler Aronson (Tufts), and Thomas Greaney (Rhode Island football).

Below are some of his highlights from the recent grassroots season care of the Middlesex Magic's YouTube page.
