SRC - Day 1 Recap

The 2018 Scholar Roundball Classic tipped off with four games on Friday at Babson College. True to form the event was well attended by college coaches from top academic colleges. Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, and Princeton were in attendance from the Ivy League. Boston University, Holy Cross, and American represented the Patriot League. Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers Week coming to New England in January

The 9th annual Scholar Roundball Classic tips Friday afternoon at Babson College. For the previous four years, the first day of the event coincided with a Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser that anually raised about $2,000. This year, the goal is much more substantial. The final day of the Zero Gravity Prep Classic at St. Andrews School certainly lived up to the hype with various teams and players continuing to impress the fans and college coaches in attendance. Putnam Science Academy alum and Mass Rivals product Akok Akok made a verbal commitment to UConn on Saturday during his latest trip to their campus.
