Friday was a big day for Cushing Academy and Mass Rivals senior guard David Duke as he celebrated his 18th birthday and also announced his verbal commitment to play for his hometown school, Providence College, just as they were set to celebrate their annual midnight madness event. It isn't often that a product of the Rhode Island Interscholastic League earns a full athletic scholarship for basketball. In fact, it's happened just once in the last five years.
