Putnam Science Academy post-graduate Alexis Yetna made a verbal commitment to South Florida after visiting their campus this weekend. The 6-foot-8 big man and native of France picked up his first high-major offers last spring when he led the Adidas Gauntlet circuit in rebounding while running with Team Belief. Lee Academy big man Miks Antoms committed to the University of Maine on Wednesday. The 6-foot-8 big man came to the United States from Latvia, playing one season at Archbishop Carroll High School in Pennsylvania, before arriving at Lee Academy the fall. A pair of Mass Elite products came off the board recently when Marianapolis Prep’s Joe Del Ricci committed to Endicott College head coach Kevin Bettencourt and Groton-Dunstable’s Tyler LeClerc committed to Salem State head coach Chris Harvey. Del Ricci is a 6-foot-1 combo-guard who is originally from Rhode Island. ESPN announces final 2017 rankings

ESPN announced their final rankings for the class of 2017 on Tuesday and, as usual, the list featured plenty of New England products. Former Putnam Science guard Hamidou Diallo wasn't included after enrolling at Kentucky at mid-year, which made Tremont Waters the top ranked local prospect on the list. The Notre Dame West Haven and Expressions Elite product checked in at 32nd overall. Before he arrived in New England, Paul Newman was the center for the most dominant high school team in Philadelphia. Roman Catholic High School won back-to-back PIAA AAAA State Championships in Pennsylvania.
