BABC Wins AAU U19 Crown

The BABC juniors won the gold medal at the AAU Boys u19 nationals earlier this week, defeating RAP Stars from Upstate New York 67-50 in the final to win the program's 19th national championship. The team went 7-0 on the week with Terrell Brown, Marcus Santos Silva and Corey Romich leading the way. The New England Playaz were the big champions at the Big Apple Summer Showcase, taking the platinum championship with a win over another top Adidas Gauntlet program - K-Low Elite from Philadelphia. For the Playaz, the entire tournament was a testament to their depth as they played without Davidson bound point guard Kellan Grady and rising junior Nate Laszewski, both of whom were nursing ankle injuries.
