The 9th annual Elite 75 Showcase - Frosh/Soph Edition will return to New England on Saturday, September 17th. The July evaluation period may have ended last Sunday but that doesn't mean that summer basketball came to an end. Putnam Science guard Hamidou Diallo won a gold medal on Saturday as part of USA Basketball's 18-and-under team that captured the FIBA Americas championship. Putnam Science Academy guard Hamidou Diallo is one of twelve players currently with USA Basketball's 18-and-under team in Chile competing in the FIBA America's Championship. The trials began in June at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where an initial group of 26 players was cut to 18.
