Carnegie Mellon is located in Pittsburgh and consistently ranked among the top 25 universities in the country by US News and World Report. The annual Hoop Mountain Spring Classic took place on Thursday night, tipping off a busy weekend in New England. Worcester Academy post-graduate point guard Nassir Barrino made a verbal commitment to the University of San Diego on Thursday night while on their campus for his unofficial visit. Hargrave Military Academy took the 2016 National Prep Championship on Wednesday night with a win over St. Thomas More in the final. This is their second national championship and first under head coach A.W. Hamilton.
