St. Mike’s Scores Guard

St. Michael's head coach Mike Harding received a verbal commitment from Corey Crawford last night.  Crawford is a six-foot, one-hundred-and-seventy-five pound guard from the Phelps School in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Crawford is originally from Dover, Delaware and was the 2010 Gatorade Player of the Year in his home state before heading to Phelps as a post-graduate where he has led the talented team in scoring.

A scoring lead guard who can make shots in bunches and really fill up the scoring column at times, Crawford shoots the ball with range as well as he does off the dribble in the mid-range area.  He is equally effective on the defensive end of the floor where his quickness allows him to pick the ball up for the entire length of the court.

Crawford joins current Kent post-graduate Darren Glover in St. Michael's recruiting class.
