New Hampshire 2012 Rankings Announced

Today we begin to update our 2012 rankings with our first look coming in the state of New Hampshire.

Newcomers Zach Auguste and Domonique Bull join the reigning top ranked player Georges Niang to create a log jam at the top of the class with all three players having a legitimate case for number one.

Niang is the most productive of the three right now and put on a show this summer at AAU nationals, where he was BABC’s most consistent offensive player.  Bull has a long track record of excellence, had moments of brilliance this summer, and has the tools to continue to take his game to even higher levels.  Then there is Auguste who has the highest upside of the three thanks to his combination of length, athleticism, and skill.

Ultimately, we went with the Marlborough native as he is the only one of the three to already own a high-major scholarship offer (that we know of) and was performing at a high level early this summer before going down with a wrist injury.  Auguste was followed by Bull and then Niang.

Spots four through six on this list are equally tight with St. Paul’s Tarik Smith, Nashua North’s Javon Williams, and Phillips Exeter’s Cam Shorey.  Of the three Smith was likely the best this summer, putting up several impressive performances while also demonstrating a strengthened frame.  Shorey was a close second as the powerful forward demonstrated a much improved perimeter game to compliment his well known interior efficiency.  Williams has the highest ceiling of the group with tremendous physical tools and basketball skills.  Ultimately, we went with Smith at four followed by Williams and Shorey.
