New Hampshire

Player of the Week – Thomas Robinson, Brewster Academy
The defending class A champions have now won five in a row and Robinson is a big reason why.  The Kansas bound forward scored 30 points and pulled down 20 rebounds in a 97-73 win over Marianapolis last Friday night and came back a day later and had 20 & 11 as Brewster beat Worcester Academy 92-56.

•  Tarik Smith Jr., St. Paul’s, 26 points & 5 threes in 48-41 win over Milton Academy
•  Josh Ramos, Nashua South, career high 28 points, including 7 in OT, in 63-62 win over Timberlane
•  Steve Zanette & Jamie Zajac, Bishop Guertin, 23 & 20 respectively in 74-70 OT win over Spaulding
•  Jasmin Handanovic, Portsmouth, 22 points in 48-46 win over Milford
•  Joe Elich, Souhegan, game high 26 points in 68-63 loss to Oyster River
•  Jordan Laguerre & Cormac Fitzpatrick, Trinity, 18 points apiece in 66-33 doubling of Manchester West
•  Andrew Fitzgerald, Brewster Academy, 20 points & 10 rebounds in 97-73 win over Marianapolis Prep on Friday 
and 27 points & 7 rebounds in 92-56 win over Worcester Academy on Saturday

Rhode Island

Player of the Week – Avery King, St. Raphael’s
When St. Raphael’s locked up with La Salle on Friday night it wasn’t just a match-up of two strong teams, but also the state’s two leading division I scorers, Avery King and Pucci Angell.  Angell reached his average of 19 despite only connecting on 3 field goals, but King clearly won the individual battle scoring 36 points including 7 three-pointers.  However, it still wasn’t enough as La Salle earned a 67-58 victory. 

•  Andrew Chrabascz, Portsmouth HS (RI) – 27 points, 13 rebounds, & 2 blocks for the freshman in 66-63 OT win over Westerly
•  Ethan Smith, Cranston West, scored 25 points in 69-46 win over Chariho
•  Frank Robinson, Mount Pleasant, 25 points in 93-64 win over Cumberland
•  Michael Palumbo, Classical, 23 points including 12-12 FT’s in 79-67 win over North Providence
•  Kyle Keleghan, East Greenwich, 29 points in 57-51 win over Barrington
•  Matt Chiccarelli, North Smithfield, 30 points in 63-54 win over Johnston
•  Malcolm Moniz, Shea, 18 points 10 assists in 80-57 win over Toll Gate
•  Jose Taymes, Central, 20 points in 55-48 win over Exeter/West Greenwich
•  Raymond Johnston, St. Raphael, 29 points in 69-55 loss to Mount Pleasant
•  Billy Baron, Bishop Hendricken, recorded his 1000th point in 89-57 win over Chariho

Vermont

Player of the Week – Nick Swim, Bellows Free Academy – St. Albans
It was another steady week for the BFA point guard as he scored 20 points to lead his squad to a 71-60 victory over Missisquoit and then came back with a 19 point, 12 assist performance as BFA knocked off Milton 78-62. 

•  Elisha Robinson, Proctor Academy, had 25 points including his 1000th in 78-34 win over Black River
•  Logan White, Hartford, 18 second half points, 27 for the game, in 56-46 road win over Brattleboro
•  Kyle Callanan, 18 points and 8 assists in a 62-44 upset over Rutland
•  Grant White, Springfield, 27 points (10-11 FT) and 10 rebounds in 63-62 loss to Mill River
•  Conor Leland, Mount Mansfield Union, 27 points in 64-47 win over Colchester, 20 points (4 threes) in 57-53 loss to CVU

Connecticut

Player of the Week – Tevin Baskin, Trinity Catholic
Baskin was dominant on both ends of the court in Friday night’s victory over rival Harding High School.  Baskin earned a triple-double with 29 points (11 in the 4th quarter), 16 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots.  Trinity stretched what was a seven point game to start the 4th quarter into a 72-58 win, snapping Harding’s five game winning streak in the process. 

•  Jordan Williams, Torrington, despite his ridiculous numbers (50 points & 23 rebounds) Torrington fell to Crosby 73-70
•  Anthony Ireland & Mike Manning, scored 25 & 24 points respectively to lead Crosby over Torrington
•  Spencer Noon, Farmington HS, 23 points including the 1000th of his career in 57-47 win over Wethersfield
•  Stephan Holley & Andre Drummond, Capitol Prep, 39 points & 9 rebounds for Holley and 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 blocks for Drummond in 81-74 win over Cheney Tech
•  Josh Turner, Sacred Heart, 34 points in 80-68 win over Wolcott
•  Isaiah Salafia, Cromwell, 29 points including 6 threes in 81-62 win over Morgan
•  Mantas Drungys, Master’s, 32 points including 4 threes in 65-63 win over Christian Heritage
•  Tucker Esborn & Tim Breckbueller, Avon Old Farms, Esborn had 23 points (9-12 FG, 3-6 3PT) and 10 rebounds while Breckbueller had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks in 57-49 road win against Trinity Pawling
•  Aziz Dieng, Pomfret School, 25 points, 5 rebounds, 6 steals vs. Gunnery
•  Eric Leider, Gunnery, 25 points in 67-53 win over Pomfret
•  Greg DeSantis, Notre Dame-Fairfield, 34 points (4 threes) in 71-60 win over Immaculate

Maine

Player of the Week – Ben Russell, Mount Blue High School
The senior guard exploded for two dynamic performances this week.  First on Friday night he went off for 32 points (including 5 three-pointers), 10 rebounds, and 6 steals in a 91-41 win over Leavitt.  Then, three days later, he gave Brewer 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 more steals in another win. 

•  Koang Thok, Portland HS, 24 points including crucial three-pointer down the stretch in 63-53 win over Scarborough
•  Dominic Borrelli, Westbrook, 27 points & 8 rebounds in 62-48 win over Portland on Friday and 21 points & 18 rebounds in 64-47 win over Massabesic
•  Jason Hatch, Isleboro HS, 28 points, 13 rebounds, 8 steals in 76-69 win over Averill
•  John Klages, Freeport, 30 points in 54-49 win over York
•  Abdirahmen Mohamed, Biddeford, 23 points, including 3 threes, in 52-46 win over Scarborough
•  Cam Vermette, Mt. Ararat, 28 points in 64-50 win over Leavitt

Massachusetts

Player of the Week – Mike Marra, Northfield Mount Hermon
The Louisville bound two-guard broke out of a mini-slump when he connected on 55 points over the weekend in NMH’s trip to Philadelphia.  First, he scored 30 playing against UPenn’s JV team at their famous arena, the Palestra.  Then a night later he came back with 25 in reduced minutes against St. Joe’s JV team.  Marra shot 8-16 from behind the three-point line over the weekend and NMH won 103-53 against Penn and 113-53 against St. Joe’s. 

•  Eric Alleyne, Brimmer & May, 13 assists in a 66-42 win over Tabor Academy
•  Egi Gjikondi & Travis Nally, Malden, Gjikondi had 32 points & 15 rebounds while Nally had 15 points, 16 assists and 3 threes in 79-76 win over Minuteman Tech
•  Andrew McCarthy, Northfield Mount Hermon, triple double of 15 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocks against St. Joseph’s JV
•  Akeem Williams, Winchendon, 18 points & 8 assists in win over #3 Notre Dame Prep 95-88
•  Mike Clifford, Bishop Fenwick, 29 points (13-18 FG) and 20 rebounds in 72-61 win over Cathedral
•  Carson Desrosiers & Billy Marsden, Central Catholic, Desrosiers had a triple double (10 points, 10 blocks, 15 rebounds) and Marsden 24 points in 69-50 win over Dracut
•  Charlie Roche, Haverhill, career high 30 points in 86-59 win over Minuteman
