National Prep Showcase Schedule Announced

The tenth annual National Prep Showcase will be return to New Haven, Connecticut and Albertus Magnus College from November 18th - 20th and once again feature the very best prep school programs in the country. 

In addition to perennial New England powerhouses like Brewster Academy, Notre Dame Prep, St. Thomas More School, Bridgton Academy, New Hampton School, South Kent School, Tilton School and many others, this year’s event will also welcome arguably the strongest field of non-New England programs in recent years. 

The Military Academy league of Virginia will make the trip in full force led by Hargrave Military Academy, Fishburne Military Academy, Fork Union Military Academy, and Massanutten Military Academy. 

Other visiting programs include La Jolla Prep from California, New Hope School from Maryland, Kiski School from Pennsylvania, Blair Academy from New Jersey, La Lumiere School from Indiana, and St. John’s Military Academy from Wisconsin. 

The action will tip off at 10:30a.m. on Friday, November 18th when Fork Union takes on Lee Academy.  Friday’s headline match-up is up next at 12:15pm when Hargrave Military Academy meets Notre Dame Prep in a battle of two of the most prestigious prep school programs in the country. 

There is a full slate of action on tap for Saturday with eight games scheduled.  New England favorite Brewster Academy will take the court at 2:15pm as they meet Fishburne Military Academy. 

Sunday’s action is headlined by a clash between NEPSAC AAA rivals Northfield Mount Hermon and Maine Central Institute at 11:45am, followed by Tilton’s debut at 5:00pm, and then another local clash at 6:30pm when Winchendon faces Wilbraham & Monson. 

In total the 2011 National Prep Showcase will feature 22 program from around the country, over 100 division I college prospects, and 20 prospects ranked in the top 100 of their respective national classes including Brewster’s Mitch McGary (2nd overall in 2012), Tilton’s Nerlens Noel (2nd overall in 2013), New Hampton’s Noah Vonleh (6th overall in 2014), South Kent’s Ricardo Ledo (22nd overall in 2012), Brewster’s T.J. Warren (23rd overall in 2012), South Kent’s Chris Thomas (13th overall in 2013), and Tilton’s Wayne Selden (10th overall in 2013).
