Moore Ends Recruitment; Headed to Pac-10

It turns out Reggie Moore won't be using the rest of those visits after all.

One day after we reported that Moore was considering taking visits to Arizona, Memphis, and UCLA, the talented guard decided to put a stop to his recruitment and committed to Washington State.

"He selected Washington State over Oregon, Iowa State, and Memphis," said Brewster head coach Jason Smith.  "He also received interested from Miami, UCLA, and Arizona."

Moore originally committed to Fresno State and signed a National Letter of Intent during the fall 2007 signing period.  Despite asking for his release in May, Moore still hadn't received the release upon arriving at Brewster this fall.

It wasn't until November that Fresno finally relieved him of his commitment and other schools were allowed to begin recruiting him.

His stock continued to rise during the course of his post-graduate season and seemed to peek recently as some of the most prestigious programs in the country were all trying to get into the mix.

Ultimately, the opportunity to play in the Pac-10 and return to the west coast proved to be too much for the Seattle native to pass on.

Prior to arriving at Brewster, Moore starred at Rainer Beach High School where he was named Washington's 3A Player of the Year while leading his team to a state title.
