Fleurizard Makes Pick

New England Recruiting Report | Monday, September 21st, 2015

Edens Fleurizard, a 6-foot-6 forward from the Hopkins School in Connecticut, made a verbal commitment to division III Hobart and head coach Tim Sweeney on Sunday.

Sweeney has a long history of recruiting the New England region, most recently as an assistant at division I Elon, and this time landed a player who has a chance to make an immediate contribution.

Fleurizard is a division I caliber athlete who runs and jumps extremely well and also has very long arms. He has the high motor necessary to maximize those physical tools, can score with both hands around the rim and a high release over top of contesting defenders inside the lane.

A product of the High Rise Elite AAU program, Fleurizard had taken multiple vists this month before pledging to the Statesmen.
